when do you want one? Im thinking of upgrading after this season. And with my experience with it, its only going to range that distance on purely reflective targets. If I remember right even on rocks its not going to range 1500yds. disclaimer on that info: I never use it at those distances other than when I first got it and so I could be mistaken. I got it to reliably range game at under 1000yds and and it does that well.

There's a couple Sig KILO 2200 RF's for sale over on Sniper's Hide Forum.  If you are looking for a RF that'll consistently range 1500-2000 on all objects, not just reflective ones, you probably should be looking at one of the Vectronix RF's because just about all the other RF's out there won't accomplish that.

I have a KILO 2200 and I can usually get fairly consistent hits up to 1800 but there are plenty of times when I don't also.

Thanks for the response! I've had two 2200 & they did not range over 950 yards or so with any predictableness. They drove me nuts, ha ha! I've heard the 2000 does better so want one that someone already has experience with out to those ranges. Thanks!

No longer a Vortex Dealer, not since Jan of this year. I couldn't get products within a decent time frame so dropped them. I do have the Rangefinder 1500 & absolutely love it & would recommend one in a 2nd! I also want a Sig Rangefinder. I own Razor Binos & Swaro binos too, I like playing with stuff! Ha Ha!

I've heard the Kilo 2200 works better than the Kilo 2000 :dunno:

I have the 2400 and it ranges in that 1500-2200 area ok.  Its much harder to get on a target than my Leica 1600.  Out to 1500 yards the Leica is much easier to use.  I am looking to try out the Leica 2700 for comparisons - I expect it will be better than the sig 2400.  Also the 2400 does not like any type of fog.

I have a 2700. So far it seems awesome. haven't had a chance to try it out much. I'm curious to see how the ballistic calculator works with the ballistic curve you load on the micor SD card.

Thanks guys! I wish my 2200's would have performed better, I would have kept them. 600-800 yards was more the norm but a 1000 yards was out of the question no matter what we tried. I sent them back to be looked over & they were returned no better than when they left. As I said I've heard better reviews out of the 2000 so want to give one a shot! Thanks!

While I am not selling mine, I have been able to range 1380yrds with mine.  That was at night in a hefty snowstorm as well.  It was off a stop sign because it was under a streetlight and that was the only thing I could see that far away to range on due to conditions!  I will say given the conditions I was quite pleased, that much snow/precip in the air my older range finders could not range 50yrds.

Hardest part at ranging things that far away is that you have to be ROCK steady while ranging or you are sending the beam all over the place.  Super easy to be off your target at that distance.  Lot of guys wanting to range that far mount them on a tripod, and there is a mount you can buy for the Kilo to do just that.

I also noticed that the actual pinpoint spot mine reads at is at 6:00 on my reticle.
