Backcountry "Missed Connection"
« on: August 23, 2018, 09:37:26 AM »
Looking to track down a person I've been running into to exchange info/stories.  Figured chances are you are on HW.  I have run into you on the trail the last 3 years in nearly the exact same location and we've chatted briefly each time.

2016: End of high hunt
2017: August bear hunt (you were packing one out)
2018: August 12th

Shoot me a PM if this is you.

To be clear, we are both men.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.

What area are we talking about?
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.
