How long do lost broadheads last
« on: October 07, 2018, 09:06:41 PM »
Ok,  so crazy question, but my partner shot at an elk and we never found the arrow

I know the carbon arrows will never degrade, but I wonder how long a broadhead would stay sharp?   Would never want to step on one trekking through the woods.

Old enough to know better.
Young enough to go for it.

I have found a couple of arrows in the woods on the OP that were clearly years old and the broad heads were still pretty sharp even after all that rain.
There is not enough wilderness left in the world, or in the hearts of men.

Ever see an old rusy piece of metal in the woods that has been there a long time lol ? Same idea , except some broadheads are made of better steel and can last even longer
