The 700 Ultimate is a great gun and I've spent a good amount of time shooting them. With 100 grains of powder, the recoil is next to nothing, and I really like how much it feels like any other hunting rifle. Cleaning is by far the simplest of any muzzleloader on the market, as it does not require you to remove the breech plug. With that said, the gun is on the heavier side, which is probably needed if you're going to shoot 200 grains of powder out of it. With 200 grains of White Hots, the recoil is pretty much comparable to a 300 Win Mag, in my estimation. The accuracy of these guns is great, and the overall fit and finish are superb. Overall, it's a great gun. Let us know if you have any other questions.
