So stoked. Sitka bound!

Plane tickets booked. A week over the Thanksgiving holiday. Me and a bud, deer tags, free to roam as we choose and a basic plan in place that if, or when, it goes to heck we wing it from there. Got a few pieces of gear to add and am loading up the Kimber Montana 25-06 plenty of projectiles  or boolits or pills or whatever they are. Can not wait!

Should be fun.  I don't know about Sitka, in particular, but it can be kind of like a shooting gallery, in places.  Make sure to pick the one you want, have a blast, and take pictures.  It is beautiful.

I think of this trip daily. Got rounds loaded and trigger time done. Been watching the camo thread closely. I've saved some cash so need to invest in good jacket and pants.  Rain is a for sure up there.  I'm open to suggestions. I'm 6 foot 1 and about 240.
