Which model crispi? The nevadas and summits have been comfort from the word go. The thors I used this season had a similar issue, not a hot spot or rubbing but caused Achilles fatigue for lack of a better term. The rest of my foot felt good and after a week in the mountains it seemed to clear up. I did notice that lacing the top of the foot tight, and leaving the ankle a little loose, then tightening the top laces did help a bunch.

I have the titans. I did buy new socks this weekend and plan to try those as well. Thanks for the thoughts guys.
