Wolves in the Naneum

Was coming down from checking my cams in the Naneum yesterday and had two cross the road in front of me. Jumped out and got within 20yds of one.  Anybody else ever see any up there?

Dang :bash: only have heard stories of people seeing them. Someone posted a couple pics of one here this spring I believe it was.

I’ve seen them a few times up there. Couple years ago Wednesday night before modern deer opener saw a big black  one near the old line shack on naneum ridge road below the BPA mainline, sucker was about 20ft from a cow/calf pair when our headlights hit it, SOB ran outta there faster than hell back into the timber headed north.

It sucks but it was first time I have seen one and it was definitely a wolf.

Saw one 7-8 yrs ago on Nanuem Ridge. Had them howling last year during early Elk near the same area.
Just tend your own and live.

Here's a real nice target...........near Curlew a couple years ago.. I took it with my phone.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Two years ago, late archery season had fresh wolf tracks running through the woods near junction to Naneum Meadows and Lion Rock

I almost counted coo on one in first creek.   I got within about 10 yards of her.
I saw a big pack of them in there years ago, before we didn’t have wolves, even though at least one of them had a collar on. Lol.
