First Lite SEAK experiences
« on: August 26, 2018, 11:15:46 AM »
How have you found the first lite SEAK rain gear to work for you on the wet side.  I have the stormtight pants and am thinking about getting the SEAK jacket.

The seak is a better west side rain coat than the stormfront although it’s heavier. I was never wet in mine last season. Happy with it so far.

Debating between medium and large right now, otherwise I’d be interested

I don’t have a ton of experience with the SEAK but I am a large in all first lite but I like the XL in the SEAK because I can layer that much more under it.

I plan on being in the SEAK a lot this fall. Hopefully enough to provide an accurate opinion of it.

I have one, I got it on sale last winter, Wore it doing chores on our little farm & wore it Halibut fishing in AK this past May (5 days of non stop rain)  I really like it.  I got the pants now too.

I'm 5'6" 180, 44" chest. I wear a large in FL's stuff, I have had it on over base layer, mid & puffy.  Its a little snug but doesn't restrict movement.  I'm looking forward to using it this hunting season.

I love mine! It kept me dry last year on multiple hunts. It’s tough when you’re beating the bush on the westsode.

I’ve had the SEAK parka for a couple of years now. If I’m interested in staying dry regardless of conditions or duration of use  it’s the one I reach for.

I have the Storm"light". Nowhere near as burly, but is a really amazing waterproof shell in a pinch as it packs down so small and weighs next to nothing.
