We did a friendly bbq competition this weekend it was put on by a bbq restaurant in town for charity for homeless hungry kids it was a blast and we fed over 600 people

We are hoping to bbq for the firemen soon that fought the forest fires waiting on all the logistics

Lets make it happen i can feed between 3 and 6 hundred depending on what i cook im sure lots of others would want to bbq also

not a "pit master" but do love cooking some Q....just curious how much meat do you cook per person ?  if you smoke up a 10 lb pork shoulder how many people do you figure that will feed ?  in my house that's about 6 and then people are pulling pistols for the leftovers  :chuckle:

A hunt wa bbq is cool. Locally we have had a few get togethers...i think up to 40 or so people...maybe more.

I always Figure 1 pound uncooked meat per person never have many leftovers some people say that's too much but the last thing I want is one single person hungry
