Thanks kindly. It will be a bit... I have 3 days to move out of my apartment, go to a doctor’s appointment, go to a financial advisor in Portland, pick up keys to my home for the winter in Seattle, repack/refurbish/resupply, and drive east for elk hunting. I’d say mid-November at this point 🙈

He was ready to be gutted!  He did have a real nice hide. When he was bedded in the rain, and you could see  the throat patch and dark brow hair, it was a great depiction of a blacktail buck.   I should have tried to snap a picture before I shot him.
