It's hard time get worked up over this kind of news, as it's simply going to happen on a regular basis. Wolves have to eat, and they eat whatever they can kill. The only real solution is to get rid of the cattle, or get rid of the wolves. Seems that people 100 years ago did what needed to be done. I hate seeing all the money being wasted on this issue when ranchers would probably take care of the problem at no cost to taxpayers if the state and federal government would stay out of it.

But that would ruin the agenda, wolves are being used to shut hunting down and drive livestock producers off public lands.

The government is the only ones who can manage the wolves today, and at great cost to the taxpayer.

Without poison and foothold traps the ranchers will never be able to manage them.

I would expect to see new legislation from Joel and the rest of our NE legislators. The problem is getting help from the rest of the state's legislators!  :bash:

Don't worry CNW and WDF&Wolves are there to help..

16+ years of wolves in WA and according to WDF&Wolves data wolves have not impacted the game herds.

Goes to show you that you can wipe out a pack of wolves and they still come back. AND still like the taste of cattle.

It's too bad the wolf lovers have latched on to his thoughts and are using it to further their agenda.
