Goes back a long ways, before 1990 I think.  Amazing they exist with the WDFW around.  I am sure it has not been easy

I rarely see anything out there or posted that is positive.

How about Derik Steven's hearing about Jada Harmon and her terminally ill situation a couple seasons back and letting her have run of the area to harvest the biggest buck they could find?

Positivity!!

My nephew ended up in a chair at 16 years old from a car accident. Derik Stevens took him hunting later that year and he shot a nice 182" buck. My son shot a cool 9x8 cactus buck in there at 8 years old and niece shot a nice 3x3 at the same age. Great guy and very patient with the kids. Super fun positive hunts!!

Short version is there were backdoor favors.
By the way the drawing for the 10 raffle tags is done at the WDFW office, I am fairly certain you have your info Wrong.

You don't count, because you shot a huge scam  buck.

On a serious note, great buck.

PEEWEE< if you have no proof, you should just be quiet.

You need to think about why these tags exist.  As far as the owner/outfitter/or whatever they are, these tags are a necessary evil they   have to deal with to get what they want.  Its an agreement with the state to get so many tags that they can use as they please with super long seasons to sell to clients.  They don't want to piss off the raffle/special permit holders to bad because they don't want to loose what they have with the state.  then again, they don't want all of the raffle/special permit holders to kill all of their big quality bucks that they want to hunt themselves or sell to their clients.  Its just simply business to them.  Nothing else but a money making opportunity.  To get the permits they need to make the money they are after they have to deal with these raffle/special permit individuals.  If they take a handicap youth or a terminally ill hunter out and have them shoot a nice deer it goes towards tons of brownie points with the state and the every day hunter.  I'm not saying they don't have compassion or that they just did it out of greed.  It was a great give back.  No different than some business or sport team doing something nice and wonderful to the needy or ill.  It is done in good faith but it also pays itself back with huge dividends.  Its just simple business.  That is why the hunts are very short in nature and very little to no time allowed scouting.  Big bucks (needles) are to be had in the haystack but you don't have much time to find them.  This is the same thing with the youth elk hunts in Blackrock and Silver dollar ranches.  Its just business.  Now there tags they get to sell and use are probably good for three months or more and during the rut and early winter to use anyway they want too.

You should tag the correct person if you want him to see it.
