I found a 550T about 5 years ago and it was "interesting" finding the owner.  It had laid out there for a year before I found it.   Took 2 weeks to find the owner.

Itís cool you took the effort to find the owner.   I found a cell phone once.  I was carrying it out and the damn thing vibrated. Scared the crap out of me. Lol.  I forgot I had it in my pocket.

I lost a rhino 110 elk hunting once. Laid out all night.
But was able to find it with my other 110 by polling itís position.

Lucky.

Hope the owner finds you.

Can a GPS ever really be lost?  :chuckle:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

That's why I always carry several, and mark the waypoints when I lose them.
