Fur Missile SPIKE
« on: September 14, 2018, 10:28:46 AM »
I am asking you to read the story below and if you feel led to donate, Thank you. You’re doing something amazing.

I fully believe that the relationship between a military working dog and his handler is about as close as man can become with a dog and if you've spent anytime with Kyle Kowalski and Spike, in their retirement together, you know this to be true!

Yesterday, I was informed that MPC Spike (aka a multi-purpose canine) for the 75th Ranger Regiment whom served 3 combat tours in Afghanistan was diagnosed with advanced lymphoma. Then within a few hours of it making rounds on social media and Kyle contacting Jason and Project K-9 Hero, we've got a solution for this retired *censored*. It's amazing how incredible this platform can be when you use it for good. I am also extremely thankful for organizations like this that step up to the plate so fast!

We need to raise at the least $7000 for his treatment, anything donated beyond that will go to other K9's that need medical treatment. If you have the means, please consider donating to Spike's cancer treatment, so that he can live a long retirement with his family. If you are unable, please feel free to share this.

Please mention Spike in your donation so it goes directly towards his care!

Your donation is tax deductible! Thank you so much and RLTW!

@Ddouble  Is there a way to donate to Spike's cause specifically or just a general donation to the org? Your link takes us to the main page.

Hi @jackelope

If you mention for Spikes care in the comments of the donation it goes directly to Spikes cause. Hopefully more is raised than whats needed for Spikes care alone and that will help other K9 Heroes.

ALL THE WAY!!!! Donation coming in hot!  Thank you for posting.  My little bro is running around the mountains with 3rd bat as we speak.  These dogs play such an important role on the battlefield.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

What a great looking dog.
Hats off the Military Working dogs and their handlers, they are an incredible asset.
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.
