Look how close to the school...
« on: March 18, 2009, 10:10:45 AM »
I was out looking at our cross-country loop today to see if it was okay for my distance track kids to run on yet and I spotted this little guy about 25 yards up the hill.

Only in Curlew...  :chuckle:

I have a 96 minute prep, I needed to check out something for track, just because I have my binos on my neck doesn't mean I'm not on working  :chuckle:

P.S. I will go back to grading papers  8)

So are you saying that when I'm looking for a job I should pick a school that has deer right on school grounds.  ;) Man, you're teasing me. I guess when I go to do my student teaching interview, that should be one of the questions I ask them... "How good are the chances of me finding a shed horn on school property?"  :)

One morning before school, our janitor was buffing the hallway with a propane powered buffer. He had the doors at both ends of the hallway open to let out the fumes. Guess what came wandering in?

A cougar. They ended up locking him (the cougar, not the janitor) in a classroom and the game dept came and darted him and relocated him.

I can guarantee he wasn't after the cafeteria food, that stuff would gag a badger.
