Fished out of Willow Grove from 8am till 2pm. Saw 6 fish caught.  We got 4 of those 6,including 1 45" keeper. Fish checker said it was terrible. Asked how many keepers and he said very few including yours!
Never been so nervous keeping a legal fish in my life. Bet I measured it 20 times. Sand shrimp, night crawler and 10 year old Mike's shrimp oil was the ticket for us.

Probably the picture. It was a pig and had tons of fat. I did a lot of trimming. I think it was fairly fresh to the river. Although it was dark colored the scutes were sharp as heck. Not worn at all.

Mile up from the deadline, nothing. 3 hours in my well loved spot, not a single bite. Bailed outa there and picked off some summerruns
