Conflict Goat Tag
«
on:

Looking for any last minute information on this tag. My 14 year old has the tag and our plans have been changed due to the maple fire. We have a back up plan but it is a fairly small area. If anyone has a good spot I would appreciate some info. Thank you in advance.

I can tell you that the goats are no where to be found on Ellinor at the moment. I know a 13 year old girl that would love some input on another option. She's worked her tail off scouting and shooting all summer but can't turn up a goat now and the Maple fire has her back up locations closed to access.

Ya, we heard the same thing also. It appears to be true. It's crazy to me that they make a mass exodus off of ellinor and head to pershing 3 days before the season starts.

Ben and joevon, have any of you tried the trail up mt washington? It starts off the little spur road you pass on the way to the ellinor trailhead.

We haven’t but I heard it’s a more technical climb.
