We haven’t but I heard it’s a more technical climb.

It is, but do-able.
Wish I could help, haven't been up there this year and haven't heard anything... I will start asking around though. Had a buddy go up to Ellinor a couple/3 weeks ago an saw the goats. In the past, when I haven't seen the goats on Ellinor or Washington, I have seen them in the Brothers coming in through the Jupiter Trail but that's a serious maybe....

You can get up Washington with some effort. In the past the goat numbers have been low on Ellinor and Washington this time of year.  If you want a really long walk you can head up to flapjack lakes then up and over the Gladys divide and hunt the wilderness side of the sawtooths. It’s rough going and requires a cross country traverse then up and over.  The best goats I’ve seen in the unit have been on Mt Lincoln.  A box of wheaties is required to get to them and back out again.
The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

Ya, we heard the same thing also.  It appears to be true.  It's crazy to me that they make a mass exodus off of ellinor and head to pershing 3 days before the season starts.
Has she had any luck? Any new goat sightings?

Have any of the first three hunters killed their goat yet?

I know for certain that 2/3 the early tags didnt get filled and I'm 99% sure that the 3rd didnt get filled either.   Not for lack of effort, the bulk of the goats that were on Ellinor left the week before the season opened.  Our back up plan to hunt Pershing fell through because of the Maple fire.  Hope the late tags get some.

One of the late tags was filled. I haven't heard from Ben on whether or not his kid was able to punch his tag.

Please tell me this isn’t a once in a life time hunt.
