No, it's not required for muzzleloader season.

I do in heavily pressured areas, just a hat.  Remote areas I do not.

Yep

I wear orange camo and a orange long sleeve shirt because it has lots of pockets.
The only place I don’t wear it is if I am in my ground blind than I wear black or camo.

I really don’t think makes any difference at all.

I’ve only muzzy hunted a few years when I draw the multi season for elk.  I hadn’t worn it but at one point was really wishing I had.  I had found a dry bed on a wet day that looked like a huge elk. I bugles and buckled and felt he was right there.  Then I heard the onslaught of hoochie mama’s from all sides and knew the hunters were coming for me.  I waited until they were close and whistled at them but before that I was a bit afraid to move much.  They told me they had seen a 5 point a minute or 2 before and figured I was him calling.  I wear it when required but I was nervous without it that day.

Pack out and now I carry it at all times.  So of the pressured areas are getting some real pieces of work hunting them.  Last year I had some *censored*s intentionally try and mess with my first set up.  It's hunting on land with public access you get all type.

I wear an orange hat in “Any deer” areas when muzzy hunting. There are idiots out there that shoot first check target later and I want to lessen my encounters with those type folks.

I carry an orange hat....put it on if we are teaming up on a stalk so others in group can quickly see where we are.  Otherwise no.

Good to know, thanks guys.. I might grab an orange hat just to be safe. I’ve got a vest and orange panel I’ll bring along for packing anything out.

Years ago, I was bowhunting wearing all camo.  Two guys set up at the end of the valley, and started shooting centerfire rifles at stumps (my direction).  I walked out on the road that wound past them, and had a "talk" with them.  Now I always carry some blaze orange with me, so I can put on, or signal my hunting buddy, as needed
