Great story and really nice deer.  Passing on the little ones to get the age class up a bit is really working for you, congrats.

Rainier, I have to admit, it is much easier to pass deer up knowing that they are pretty likely to survive and when there are a lot around.   ;)

I left the trail camera up and got a few more bucks.  It took about 4 hours for any deer to show up the night I got mine.  Unfortunately, he was off camera before the shot and ran behind grass after so no photos of him.

The forked unicorn showed up again as well as one that has heavy webbing between his forks. Also a definite shooter 3X2 showed up as well as the little buck I passed coming by in daylight.

This might be a darn good stand during the rut, bidding starts... now!  :chuckle:
