Dairy Queen.  He is 10, so this is his first year in the majors.  Do you play for WWCC?

Oh, OK.  He will probably go to DeSales when he hits middle school.  Went to Assumption the last 3 years.

He's played since coach-pitch when he was 5.  LOVES baseball.  Played for Blue Mountain Development in the Minors last year and had an undefeated season.  He was so jazzed when they called us Friday night and told him he got drafted for DQ.  THey were a young team last year and again this year, so they're building.  By the time he is 12 they should be pretty good again though, they picked up several really good 10 year olds this season.  A couple of kids that played for BMD last year that were excellent players for their age :jacked:.

An attempt to return the thread to turkey hunting:
Pacific and Valley are supposed to have a Jamboree starting at 10:00 on the 4th (opening day of youth turkey season).  I was talking to some of the parents today and I guess Justin won't be the only one scrambling out of cammo and into uniform to make it to the game...

...just proof that we live in a good town... :chuckle:

Funny thing is that if I told him that he would do it.  Then his Mom would kill me.  And I would be dead.  And she will NEVER marry another hunter.  And then there won't be anyone to take my boys hunting.

...so I carry wipeys in the truck specifically for taking off cammo paint.  Had to do it for soccer season when he was 7, football this year, coming home late from elk camp just about every year, asleep in the truck by the time we got home, church on Sunday, etc, etc, etc....
