methow special permit
« on: September 22, 2018, 10:14:40 AM »
drew the methow fall turkey tag for units 218-231 and 242, haven't been out much specifically for turkey but am pretty good on my mouth calls and have a nice pot call too. I've been doing research on the differences between spring and fall turkey tactics as well.
from what i've read a lot of the turkeys in those units are on private land, not asking anyone for a honey hole but is there an area/unit thats better than the others? looking to head out the next few weekends to get boots on the ground there and looking for a good starting point.
Any other help is appreciated as well!

Most of the turkeys in the Methow are in 239 on the Okanogan side.   233 to the north.   Anywhere else they are scattered in little pockets, mostly on private.
