~ Help Jesse ~ Donations for Titan Gear ~ 5-22-09
« on: March 18, 2009, 07:52:50 PM »
As some of you many know, a family friend was hit by a drunk driver and nearly killed in November of 2008. As a result of the accident he is still in bad shape and is only able to get from the bed to a wheel chair with the help of 3 people. He has mounting medical bills, lots of therapy to come and will need a prosthetic leg capable of allowing him the freedom to continue hunting and fishing.
For more info on Jesse you can go here to our "All things Jesse" page.
http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,23148.0.html

I have been trying to think of a way to help and Sunday I got a phone call that will help me give back to Jesse and his family for all the years of help and inspiration they have provided my family, my friends and myself.

Chris from Titan Outdoors read Killbilly’s post about Jesse and immediately wanted to help. Chris has graciously donated shirts and DVDs to help raise money to offset some of the financial burden that has been suddenly forced on this family. These items are so nice that I was able to sell some at work, even to non-hunters.

We are asking for $20 donations for each item or $20 for the first and $15 for every one after that. There are various shirt designs and sizes (I will try to keep a running total of what is available) as well as Addicted 2 DVDs. If we don’t have a shirt in your size, you can still donate and then give the shirt to a friend or family member. They make great gifts and the money goes to a great cause. If all of the Titan items go to donations we can generate over $1,100. Please help me hit this mark.

We prefer to use this PayPal account - nikeleg@comcast.net - but if you want to send checks or cash you can pm me for an address. After donating please send me your address in a private message.

I'll take a DVD if you still have any left.  Do I just make a deposit to the PayPal account?

Thanks to site members (and a few outsiders) we have raised over $300 with Titan gear.
We are nearly 1/3 of the way to our goal of $1,000+ with this product.

Thanks for your help. It is appreciated.

Chris,

I want to thank you for your generous donation and the “push” you gave me in helping Jesse. By donating items (instead of cash) you made me work to earn the donations, which in turn kept it in the forefront and that encouraged others to donate or purchase items to help Jesse.

Thanks for all you have done on this issue and for the support of this site.
