Assume you’re talking grunt tube (non internal reed tube). Hands down for sound quality and compact enough to carry in the elk woods, Elknut’s Chuckler

I bought the Phelps small tube and used it a lot this year, super easy to pack and sounds great.

A Large juice bottle attached to a chunk of a paint roll with some duct tape and fabric thrown in there. Its smaller than a wiffle ball bat which makes carrying it nice.

Why spend money when you can make something for free and experiment with different options.

Phelps has been awesome for me. Have been using the standard but will try the smaller tube.
