520 Winston Rifle Rut Tag (Success)
« on: September 27, 2018, 07:16:55 PM »

Definitely not the bull my brother was looking for after waiting so long to draw a quality elk tag. But with zero rut activity whatsoever, you gotta take what you can. Always a good time hunting with the family and meat in the freezer! Not always about the size of the bull👍🏻

He can't eat the antlers, so I'd say he did well by my meat hunter standards.

I'm just not as good as some of those youtube hunters and only have limited days to put in the woods so I live by the first legal animal and never pass on something the first day you would shoot on the last.

Nothing wrong with that bull at all in mind.  Congats on a successful hunt

Typical Winston bull,  got to love the crown... assuming rot on left side.   Got to love that country though

500 line? Nice job
Some animals WERE harmed in the making of this Hunter. They were also dragged through the dirt, butchered and tasted delicious fried with butter and bacon.
