Responded to your pm but for everyone else, besides the normal break in issues I really like them.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure they attend the sheep show in Reno so I'll hopefully get to try a few different models on.

Briksdal's have been treating me well and holding up in chukar country. A little lighter than my Mtn. Extreme's and a way better sole.

Dissapointed to say the least.
Nevada uninsulated.

First they sent me three pairs of Dakota's that were lemons with odd defects right out of the box. Misshapen lumps or the liner falling inside the boot.

Then I told them I wanted my money back which they obliged and offered me a boot discount for my trouble.

Enter the Nevada .

Comfy, true to size and out of the box I liked the build. Reminds me of my favorite boot, the meindl island.

I was very interested in the ABSS but it's not supportive. Basically just cushion around the ankle.

They don't breath so they stunk up fierce and fast.

I liked the tread but had to have them resoled halfway through the first season because chunks we're coming off the tread.

They started out 6-8 hours waterproof but here after 50+ days in the field they are only about 1 hour waterproof walking in the rain.

They aren't stiff enough for my liking but that is probably a selection issue.

I use crispis waterproof cream and quality Gators.
"Right now, I am thinking that If my grandmother was here, she would be lecturing me about how there are poor people in Africa, that would just love to have a Ruger, I would just say "Great, granny, lets just ship all the Rugers to Africa!"

Loving life in the Great Northwest one day at a time.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.
