Shopping for new boots after this last elk hunt. Anybody run crispi boots? They fit true to size?

Ive ran the hunter gtx for the last 4 years.  They run true to size for me.  There the most comfortable boot I've ever tried.  After 4 seasons there holding up extremely well.  I reseal them once or twice a season and have yet to get back to camp with wet feet.

My feet got wet last week and I finally decided to buck up and get some quality boots.

They are the only boot I have ever had to buy a size down. I wear 12’s in everything. I bought 11.5 in crispi’s. I tried the Nevada’s. Returned them and fell in love with the lapponia’s.

I wear between 11 and 11.5 but found a pair of 11 on sale and went with them. Hopefully same experience as you had.

Love mine. Have the Nevada & Summit. Want the Thor.
Ive had alot of top brand and these are all I want now.
 Since there was no dealer near me, what I did was put my bare foot down on paper and traced it.  I called black ovus and spoke to their crispy rep and gave him the exact foot measurements and he got me the correct size I needed. They fit perfect out of the Box

I got a pair of Crispi Wyomings and they were some of the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn. Customer service was great and they took them right back.

I use Lowa Renegades or Lowa Tibets depending on season and am done with the boot search.

Crispi are the only "high end" boots I have used that I feel I have gotten my money out of. But durability is very low on my priority list so take that for what it is. Lots of guys want a 400 dollar boot to last twice as long as 200 dollar boot. My experience is that that's unrealistic for me. I want a boot that will keep water out as long as possible, and for a reasonable amount of mileage in that boots intended use. Along with increased comfort and or stability. Crispi has satisfied those requirements for me. I will continue to use them. I have used the summit, the thors, the nevadas, and another I forget. Summits have been my favorite.
