That's an awesome Billy! Congratulations! He has a great looking coat of fur for the mount too. That would probably be most important to me over score or book status. I would have the entire hide tanned!

You should have the blood spot on the mount.
Congrats.

I love the country these things call home.

I went with the second one and even asked if he could add snow and ice to the rock. Man I can’t wait to get it back next year. Already looking at the wall thinking of where I could put it  :chuckle:

Man that’s gonna be a sweet mount.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Congrats Scott on a nice Billy. You get that Sunday morning. Was he running by himself?

Yes he was all alone. Just chilling on a rock slide. And for the other questions yes we did pack the meat out. I had 2 great friends along with me that packed the meat while I packed the head and hide. Never had goat, looking forward to trying it.

The taxi I took it too today said he makes it so it can be washed and cleaned/ dusted so that doesn’t happen.
