I have gotten some personal messages asking me some questions about the hunt.  The hunt took place in Region K in Southwest Wyoming on a ranch that is owned by an old missionary companion I served with when I was 19 years old 35 years ago in California.  Some have asked what the two big mule deer scored.  Its deceiving because the real tall deep forked buck (mine) out scored the really nice wide buck (my buddies) but not by much.  Mine scored 169 and 2/8ths and my buddies scored 167 6/8ths.  When it comes to hunting out of state and in state too, access is everything!  Many people on this forum are just as good of hunters as I am and some are probably better.  But access is the issue we all have to face each year and its getting worse not better.  Make good relationships with those ranchers.  I bring a truck load (and I mean a tuck load!) of apples and produce to these ranchers and it goes a long way with them.  Things we take for granted living here in Washington go along way with people that live over 5000 feet above sea level.  Bring enough for them and all their neighbors and family.  Make it a situation that they are glad to see you coming!!!  It makes all the difference for us on the ranches we hunt in Wyoming and Montana.  Good hunting to all!!!!!

We always haul over a load of Dungeness, fresh Salmon and smoked salmon. It is really appreciated over there. And congrats on the nice animals. We hunted region b this year and filled five deer tags and two goat tags. Awesome hunt.
