I've been told a common way to hunt wolves up north when the snow is deep is to break a trail with a snowmobile and then hunt the trail you broke as the wolves will use it to get around.

totally got to be true.

I've found a *lot* of wolf scat on snowmobile trails, some trials I put there as it had snowed pretty good.  I've chased them off a snowmobile trail or at least I assume I did because I could smell em and the scat wasn't frozen, still warm looking.

What I haven't done is put up a trail cam where I broke a whole new trail,  I might do that this winter  :tup:

reminds me, I still need to put in my chainsaw mount  :chuckle:
