got meat?
« on: October 22, 2007, 08:44:53 PM »
well, i never did find the mature 4 or 5 year old buck i was hoping for but settled on a respectable 2 1/2 year old 3x4 on friday just before dark. i passed up 6 bucks over the week, mostly younger 3 points. i saw one mature buck, a heavy horned 3x4, looked like he broke off his g4, weird..... anyways, he was on the way out before shooting light and i never saw him again. the weather played hell with us from wednesday night on.... it was brutal to say the least. congrats to everyone that filled the freezer this year! bring on the birds and yotes!
