Need help identifying rifle stock

I inherited this rifle from my uncle a long time ago and tonight when taking it out of the case I find this.  I have no clue what to do. The stock has no words what’s so ever so I don’t even know where to start for ordering a new one. I’ll put a picture of before and after.

The butt pad says white line. Could a gun smith Fix this stock or is it done for? This is the first time dealing with this Type of scenario and don’t know what to do.

It can be fixed, but will have a line along the break.  Not an uncommon break on antique shotguns.  To repair a couple steel rods will likely be run through the wrist and then the stock glued back together.  The coloring of the glue joint and the checkering would be the tough part (finish work for anything usually is).

Did it break while putting the scope or shell holder on? Doesn't matter I guess, it's broke. Maybe take the pistol grip cap off, tape the butt back on, drill a pilot hole up through the pistol grip and part way into the stock then use some Gorilla glue or whatever then screw it together good and tight. If the wood is really old and oil soaked then glue may not work.

I would two part epoxy ,mix something in the epoxy so it's as dark as the stock is now , then sand and finish work , then the larry potter field vid below good luck.

Your ammo looks just like the accubonds I reload for 7mm mag.

The Gunstock is an older semi custom and could be from a number of suppliers most likely old enough that warranty wouldn't be in order and most likely the company is out of business.   You should be able to get a replacement stock from Boyds or Stocky's but you will need to determine the model Mauser action it is.

There is a company called the STOCK DOCTOR that specializes in repairs like this.  It is fairy expensive but you will not be able to find the repair, they are good.

It is a very nice looking piece of walnut but had very poor grain alignment in the grip area.

Could be a Bishop or Fajen stock. Mauser would probably be Model 98 action.

Just got it back from the gunsmith. Turned out very nice! Excited to hunt with it this upcoming season!!
