Nice looking sheds!  So now what are you going to do with them?

Looks like Indian John Hill area?

It does look like that area doesn't it, but its actually about 7-8 miles to the west of there, its on private land, and most land around the lower section of this is private.  These bulls, i'm pretty sure hide in some nasty stuff during the season.  I was hoping to run into this bull during my season this past year.  My buddy found one side of him last year and he grew quite a bit since then.

awesome set! have you gross scored them yet?

Haven't grossed them yet, will eventually, comparing that to the bull i got this past year that scored right around 350 i'd say he'll score bigger than that, he's got more mass, more points, and his 3rds are longer than mine, although my main beams i think are longer than these, but i'm horrible and judging them.

Nice looking sheds!  So now what are you going to do with them?

Probably going to have them put together and hang them on the wall, they're too nice of a set to just toss in a shed or make a lamp etc... out of.

I know where you live  ;)

Nice sheds. My brother and I found a nice 7 x7 shed on the other side of the hill in the background behind you about 15 yrs ago on my uncles property

love private property   try to find something on public and lets c how u do
nice lookin sheds, but u ruined it for me once someone said private property.
Sorry i dont control where the elk go, just cause its on private property doesn't mean you're always destined to find them when there's thick brush, timber, swamps, etc...  Or would you rather have me chase them off the private property on to the adjacent public land just to make you feel better, give me a break, it's no different than finding them on public land except the fact that you have to compete with hundreds of other people on public land.  And for your information I do fine locating sheds on public land when i actually go out which isn't all that often.

i don't see anything wrong or less cool about private land sheds. what should he have done? not picked them up? not took pictures? i don't get it.

more than a couple of the shed hunting supermen are picking them up on private.

congrats on some great finds.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
