1st Annual Hunt-WA Head Competition Award Ceremony
« on: March 19, 2009, 09:26:24 PM »
For you locals, or even those who want to go out for an evening drive and have a great dinner and a few drinks, the awards ceremony will be at the Lyman Tavern, in the beautiful Skagit Valley, on Sat, April 4 at 7pm. Lyman is a very small town so it's easy to find. The Lyman Tav has a large selection of antler mounts, which is the reason it has the nickname as the "Horniest Tavern in the Northwest". Come say congrats to the 2008/9 winner Bearhunter and talk some hunting.

There will be a few other locals attending too. You have to understand how things work in this valley, as you get older in age or as you get further and further upriver, you get more and more afraid of computers. :chuckle:

Here are a few photos from the event, including the guest of honor and predator champion, Bearhunter. It was great to have the crew from Olympia there. I can't wait until BTKR and Bearhunter re-tell the story of the hippie bear hunter. :chuckle:
