Rem 700 XCRII RMEF in 280 Rem

Found a nice looking used one, but cannot seem to find any info on this combo.  Have a couple of Q's for those that know-

What years did they make the RMEF XCRII in 280?
Anybody know the twist rate on the barrel?  It's 24".
Any negative commentary on the TriNyte finish yet?

I've found zero examples of this combo in my searches.  Really odd. 

It appears in general, folks are happy with the XCR's though.

I would guess it is no different than the regular xcr2 models. Just has the camo stock and logos.

Bullblaster is correct.  It's just a normal xcr2 that has the rmef stamp on the floor plate.  They are auction guns made for rmef by Remington.  Great thing about them is since they were won at a banquet by the person they are probably not into them more than 20 or 40 bucks in tickets so wheeling and dealing is usually pretty easy

You may be able to determine the date of manufacture by a code stamped on the gun.

If not, I have emailed Remington with a serial number and they promptly replied with the date of manufacture.
