right on and thanks for the reply. I do have some 600plus grain cedar shafts that I also use for elk that I think would be fine for moose. I do like a heavy arrow. I also have some purple heart footed shafts that are dang tough. i would have to change out broadheads though as I currently use Bear Razorheads and would not trust them to hold up on a moose. I was just not sure if my 63lb Hybrid longbow would be sufficient but then again its not all that tough to get close to a moose most of the time. Sure like that there are still some folks out there running around with the real stick and string.

I killed mine with a 400gr. Beman tipped with 85gr. Thunderhead, I think you will be fine.

Yeah I'm sure I will be fine but those ribs don't look friendly. I haven't had any problems getting through elk with that combo.

We got pics of it right after you guys got back from his mom. No description, just pics. Glad to finally hear the story! Was almost certain it wasn’t a WA moose from the size!

Absolutely wonderful classic beautiful and even more of a study animal congratulations...that’s what I want
"How, given the canine teeth and close-set eyes that declare the human animal to be a predator, had we come up with the notion that oat bran is more natural to eat than chicken?"

"Winners take responsibility...Losers blame others"
