Chocolate Lab Stud?

Anyone know of any chocolate lab studs available? My wife and I would like to breed our four year old AKC chocolate lab once before we spay her. Any info is appreciated.

I am sure that there are plenty of in tact male chocolate labs out there and any one of them will meet your request. To help narrow the field, try giving more information, for example: we have a 4 year old chocolate female, we have done all physical testing (hips elbows, eyes, all good or better) disease tests including EIC and others that are common tests these days (a good vet will know) and a little about your dog, (medium build 63#, flushes or points, we hunt...…. or family dog, AKC/UKC registered) and so on. Then a little about what you are looking for in a stud: bigger or smaller, hunting or pet back ground, registered, medical history, health testing and certs, etc.


Think of it like a dating service, put out what you got and what you are looking for and why. I bet you will get better info and likely more quality prospects. There are a bunch of chocolate labs out there but they are NOT all equal and if you are serious about bringing pups into this world you owe it to them and their future owners have the best chance at a healthy life. My Jax is just a year about. so he's not certified yet . He is a 80 lbs sweetheart though with a wonderful temperament. . He carries the dilute gene for silvers and charcoal . We just picked up a female yellow so he may get fixed though.

I'd give Teresa a call at kingsland Labradors in south hill Puyallup, not far from you.  She has breed chocolate labs for over 30 years, she is very picky and for that reason has really great dogs.

Satchmo: Owned by Dow Derato. Satch just passed the Master National last week.

Neither has the dilute Gene and both will probably require that you proove your dog doesn't have it as well as the standard health clearances.

Please make sure your girl has all health testing but bare minimum hips, eyes, elbows, hearts and Esspecially EIC and CNM they are devestating diseases that are preventable but you must test.

2 litters on the ground now and another litter cooking in the oven. He's produced at least a dozen large litters.
