Score for muzzy cougar
« on: October 17, 2018, 02:23:52 PM »
Does anyone know the rules for muzzy cougars?  My friend had an old book and it looked like there is a different category and the scores were quite a bit lower.  Can someone post up the Washington scores?

Awesome.  Thanks.

Pictures aren't mine to share, but the taxi thought it would score somewhere around 14.5-15.  Best guess was 14.5 to 14.75.

Got the skull back.  It scored 14 4/16.  I have no idea if that is a big cat or not?

Slight thread derail, but interesting to see that big cats come form all over the state.

Awesome! Part of my curiosity is whether it is a big cat in general. I don’t know if it sixth muzzy because nobody has muzzy killed cougars score and nobody shoots any, or if it’s sixth because it’s really big. I know very little about cougars.

Guys gotta remember, these are the only ones entered. Nearly every houndsman I know has never entered any skull into a record book. I have an archery lion that would easily challenge the record, but don't feel the need in any way to enter it into a book. Especially since I used hounds to kill it. :twocents:
