Mule deer or white tail hunting
« on: October 18, 2018, 10:45:36 AM »
I’m a disabled veteran I was wondering if I would be better to go to Idaho or try my luck in eastern Washington next yr. want to take my daughter as well. I know most probably will say Idaho but I figured I would try on here first already called the dept of fish and game in Idaho want to give it go before it’s to late and I can’t go any more. I’ve hunted a ton on the west side. Thanks!

If you are charismatic and good at making connections,  private land in Washington wouldn’t be a bad bet.  Public land wise, there is more game in Idaho and more public land, with less people.   If you use a wheeler, IdAho is way more wheeler friendly.

A lot depends on your budget and your goals. I would say, depending on the level and type of your disability, the NE corner of Washington could be a good option. Plenty of good spots that are a short, easy hike from the road that you can set up in a blind and kill a deer.
