Looking for late season deer hunt near Newport, WA
« on: November 14, 2018, 07:20:09 AM »
My princess bride is participating in a last minute women's turkey hunting workshop near Newport on Sat and Sun.  So I'll have both days open and I thought I might try to get into the woods near there.  That said, I've never been out that way and would appreciate any advise on somewhere to try.  Or, if you're headed that way yourself and looking for a partner, I'd be open to that as well.

Thank you in advance.

Deer have been pretty slim this year. Especially on public ground.

North of there heading up Le Clerc rd on the EAST side of the river is GMU 113. A large amount of  public land and a lot of roads.
