WDFW LEO action on the Tucannon Saturday??
« on: October 21, 2018, 10:14:48 PM »
Passed a convoy of 4 WDFW game warden trucks headed down the Tucannon Saturday afternoon.  Wondering what the heck was going on. Lots of hunters down there this weekend and not lots of deer out. Maybe the hunting pressure and the heat kept the deer holed up.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Wonder if they were doing a robo deer sting?! They set up a 150”+ Muley right next to The sinlahiken valley road a few years back and there were 4-5 wdfw officers waiting for someone to take the bait. Well we passed by laughing but the truck behind us took the bait and got nailed.  :bdid:

Closed unit? Or just shooting from the road?

Had to tranquilize and relocate a 90 pound black bear hanging too close to the last resort. Heard the convoy drove him across state and released it safely with the help of  the feds and a pack of bear dogs.
