more....  Better looks at a couple of the more interesting bucks hanging around.  The double main beam buck didn't change at all in the last six weeks.  2.25 y/o max.

I realize I'm referring to an old post here, but Salt n Sage what model of Bushnell is that? That has got to be one of the clearest, most crisp nighttime photos I've seen!

Posted a couple of these on my earlier thread. Kinda cheating, but technically he can wander east from the photo location about 400 more yards until he becomes a mule deer. So it's all good.  :chuckle:

My good friend got this pic this week on the Olympic Peninsula. 4x2 Blacktail with eye guards. No bench leg here. 100% Blacktail.

Tree farmer, is that the lake crescent buck? He's a stud for sure, heard he was tapped by a car some months back. Wonder if that's what caused the narrow 2 pt side???

Pretty massive bases on that dude.  Probably will be only 2/3rds of that girth once the velvet is gone but still a nice buck.

Between Aug 26 and today (Sept 5) had the most activity ever on camera, 730 deer pictures in the orchard.

Including catching a little sparring going on, then back to the business at hand...apples!!    :EAT:

:chuckle: the most amazing part is he is still in the summer red in that pic. We have his matching sheds from 2 years prior & he is regressing slowly to a giant 2 pt.

I'm always a little disappointed after they shed velvet.  He's still a nice young buck with lots of potential, but I'm an instant gratification kind of guy.  Waiting 3 or 4 years to see what he becomes seems a bit tiring.  :chuckle:

Lastly, caught a couple youngsters a couple days ago still exhibiting their trust in humans and neighborhood dogs.  One last hit on the apples in broad daylight.

The smallest of 3 that we've been getting on camera. I haven't figured out how to down load videos. We just switched our cameras to picture mode. We know where we'll be the last 3 days of Oct.
