Leica rangefinder suggestion
« on: October 28, 2018, 04:18:40 PM »
I can’t decide between the CRF 1600-R and the CRF 2000-B. EuroOptics has them both for $399 right now. I would appreciate some input from those with knowledge of these models. I wouldn’t really need it for anything super long range, 600yds max right now, but still like to have something more than capable for my needs. Thanks

I just picked up the 1600R -- It has Full Angle Compensation at all distances, I've hit to 1400 yards but to 1200 yards very consistently.

The 1600B & 2000B do not have Angle Comp at bowrange distances. It's mainly for rifle hunters or guys who do not need Angle Comp!

Thank you. I’ve compared the specs but didn’t notice the angle comp was different between the two!

Yes, I didn't know that either until I was ordering them & asked what the differences were between the R & B. The salesman then explained it & I picked up the 1600R for 439.00 -- These are hands down better than the Sig 2200 I had.

Awesome. I was going to pick up a Sig 2200 until I saw this sale. Thanks again.
