Hanging a hide
« on: October 29, 2018, 09:50:14 PM »
Is there a best way to hang a tanned hide from the wall? I was concerned tacks wouldn't be strong enough but I wasnt sure what would be the best nails to use. Dont want it to come off the wall and tear. Thanks

Even the softest garment tan wouldn't tear from its own weight
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Small finish nails if you want to spread it out like a rug. I’d reccomend not nailing into studs just drywall.

They actually make small hanger tabs that can be attached to the feet to hang the rug by. Try a place like Van Dykes online
