Let's hear those wolf reports from the central cascades

Now that people are spending time in the woods or are done hunting for the year, let's hear those wolf reports for the central cascades. Haven't seen a fresh trail cam pic since August, but I imagine they are still running around.

A couple buddies shot a deer up on the Blewett side of Miller peak. They knew they made a poor shot and decided to wait an hour to track. When they came upon the deer it  had a lone wolf on it, it took off at first but hung around watching while they took care of it

Hunted elk ,saw 2 wolves in the wenas area.342. the canyons that we hunt,have usually held elk . on the opener there was not a track,dropping's..in both draws..huffing and puffing father up and over we looked over about 200 yrds and there were 2 wolves on the hill side.we thought they were does for a second as they blended in good..BUT THEY WERE WOLVES.
     We headed back home the next day as everyone we knew in the other camp's had seen ZIP. We have watched this area go down hill for the last 6 yr's.
  So we went blacktail hunting and i got a nice 2x3,at about 30 ft,I just sat down to take a break and heard some noise and right in front of me coming around the stump was this Buck,shot right into the neck .Had backstraps last night right next to my mashed potatoes..

heard 2 reports of woofs on S. Cle Elum ridge. 1 reliable other 2nd hand. Elk tracks & sign were rare.

That's what I have been saying all along and was sent a PM to stop that kind of talk.

If more people had this attitude there would be less of a large coyote problem.

There are no wolves were the state says they are not any
 So what ever they are makes them fair game in my view.

Try shooting a wolf and claiming it's a coyote because "the state said there aren't any in that area" and let us kwow how that works out.....   If you can still afford internet service when they are done with you.

I wish we could shoot them legally, but you are giving advice that will bankrupt someone.

My friends son lives in Kittitas on the north end of the firing range and sees wolves in the fields all the time....

Please shoot one of your “not wolves” and post pictures on the forum and see how that works out for you.  I’m assuming you’re smart enough to understand that a wolf could be a wolf and isn’t a coyote just because the WDFW says there are no wolves in a particular area. Come on with that. It literally makes zero sense. 

The reason you were told to stop it with those comments is because it goes against the rules that the owner of the forum set.  Maybe you need a refresher of the rules. Let me know and I’ll send you a link.

Who at the state has said there are no wolves in the central cascades? Please provide some info to back up your statement.  I feel like there is a general consensus that the wolves range is expanding westward. There is some well documented wolf love by some individuals in the north central cascades and if it's happening elsewhere, call a spade a spade don't just perpetuate WDFW hate where it's not earned.

I modified it to have bold red on the part that applies to this thread and the warning that was received via PM.  My guess is someone was trying to keep you out of trouble with the law.  We are all grown up and can choose which laws to follow or not.  I know this is one that I follow but there are others like speeding in a vehicle that I don't.

Because you read it on the internet right? There are individuals at the WDFW busting their ass to try to stay on top of the wolf status/situation.  Some are admitted wolf lovers. All of that said very few sightings or reports fall on deaf ears (CURRENTLY!). In the past I would not defend but right now much of the hunting community have become their own worst enemy in so many areas, this is definitely one.
