Just a refresher from the stickied topic at the very top of the wolf board.

Hunting-Washington does not condone the illegal killing of wolves or any other wildlife. An organized and civilized society must have laws and those laws must be enforced for a society to remain organized.

It has been the policy of Hunting-Washington to allow most civil discussions. Moderators will sometimes remove comments they find and judge to violate forum rules especially if comments are unsuitable for family viewing or discussion on this forum. When comments are found that suggest illegal activity they are usually left on the forum so that law enforcement can monitor such activity.

Everyone has agreed to the Forum Rules when signing up to use this forum. Please note the following excerpt from the Forum Rules:

You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, slanderous, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any State, International, or United States Federal law.

(added the word "State")

I modified it to have bold red on the part that applies to this thread and the warning that was received via PM.  My guess is someone was trying to keep you out of trouble with the law.  We are all grown up and can choose which laws to follow or not.  I know this is one that I follow but there are others like speeding in a vehicle that I don't.

Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

WDFW has more than its share of haters deservidby so
Because you read it on the internet right? There are individuals at the WDFW busting their ass to try to stay on top of the wolf status/situation.  Some are admitted wolf lovers. All of that said very few sightings or reports fall on deaf ears (CURRENTLY!). In the past I would not defend but right now much of the hunting community have become their own worst enemy in so many areas, this is definitely one.

Everyone has a right to their opinion. When the wildlife has been so mimanaged it has to fall on their shoulders.
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

Don't beat around the bush.
Friend: "Are you free tonight?"
Me:  (Gazing into the distance as a bald eagle screeches)  "I'm always free"

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
