I have two different sizes of Outdoorsman's, great for glassing-packing, but trying to find something more steady for Swar BTX with magnifier and 95 obj... its long and heavy. Looking for something more solid for glassing, dealing with wind lots of the time. Not new to glassing... many many hours yearly behind 15x swar on tripod. Not crazy about twist type adjustments...
Appreciate the input, interesting seeing what others are using, always open to new ideas!!
Thanks,
BKMFR

As I mentioned on your other tripod post, I can happily run down a Slik 700 for you to look at some evening. I specifically bought mine for a claw mounted rifle holder and to use my 95 and BTX with. Couldn't be happier at $99. I too have the Outdoorsmans and they have their purpose.
