I filmed this guy standing in the exact spot 3 weeks ago in the rut.   I was very surprised he was in the exact spot still.  I wonder if he will be standing there when his antlers fall off in 2 months. LOL

I wish I could get closer.  Geography was making that impossible without blowing them for sure.   Theres a cat working the area and they were on high alert.   In fact I think later on they were keyed on it, but dang it if I could see it.  I burned a bunch of time watching them and waiting.
