That's a great buck no matter where it was.  Solo next to the road makes it that much sweeter.  Way to get it done on the last day.

Beautiful buck for sure.

We did; the day after we ran into you guys we went back and killed a buck we had spotted earlier that day. Beautiful boxy 4x4 with eyeguards. Super fun hunt. It was my first time in the unit and we had a lot of fun glassing and sizing up rutting bucks. Love to do it again sometime.
