Congrats man! Did you have the little black truck with the soft topper? I was in the lifted white Chevy and the one that told you that you were crazy to be sleeping in the back when it was so cold :chuckle:. Congrats on a beautiful buck!

Clint
did you guys tag out as well

We did; the day after we ran into you guys we went back and killed a buck we had spotted earlier that day. Beautiful boxy 4x4 with eyeguards. Super fun hunt. It was my first time in the unit and we had a lot of fun glassing and sizing up rutting bucks. Love to do it again sometime.

Clint
Im thinking of heading back over once the archery hunt is over and hunting with my camera
Remember that buck is climbing that Mt. every day!

As I am the first to say, most of my hard (fun) hunts are ones that got away, and most of my successful hunts are "and it was standing there"...
You get them when you can, and enjoy hunting.
Its not all about the result, but its great to punch a tag.
Great buck!
Congrats on a successful hunt, and I am sure you have a few other stories to tell.
